process SERVER0 its taking High CPU Time in XI

Hi,

We installed XI 3.0 develpoment server ,Process <b>SERVER0</b> its taking more CPU time.

We are using AS/400 OS & DB2 datbase.Can any one tell me the reason & Solution for this.

Hi ,

Thanks to Everyone.

We solved this ISSUE with the help of sap. High CPU usage is due to the erron in communication channel at Aleart config...so we removed some unwanted rules .Now its working fine.

Thanks for your reply,I referred the note that you have given and pl tell me the steps in AS/400 OS for fine tuning.And user XIRWBUSER its using more resource in XI development server,Actually this user is an Service user but its running on many dialog process.I think it may cauces high CPU time.

using 5 work processes and 3/4 of the available CPU for an extended amount of time.

The process SERVER0 use a lot of CPU when starting, but usually after the complete start-up phase the CPU use decrease.

Some old service pack has some bugs of this use of CPU, which java virtual machine the server run ?

Which SP on XI box ?

These informations are very important to focus the problem

1.Installed Web AS JAVA SP16.

2.Installed the patches related to Software deployment manager

XI - SAPXIAF18P_4-20000273.sca, SAPXIAFC18P_8-20000272.sca, SAPBASIS18_0-10002690.zip, SAPXITOOL18P_5-20000274.sca & SAPJ2EECLI18P_1-10001982.SAR.

pls tell me the solution to solve this issue.

Hi Sandro,

Right now the other work process like WP00, WP01,WP02,WP03...This process also taking more CPU time.But no one is working on the system except the RFC user XIRWBUSER is running in dialog process.
