Offline approval of SC

Hi,

I am using SRM 5.0 and when I ran the report RBBP_NOTIFICATION_OFFAPP for offline approval notification of SC, I am getting "Please maintain an output device in your master data" error, am I doing any wrong here. I have set FORWARD_WI for all the users and also made sure that users have valid email address. Please advice.

Hello, you should define a default printer in the organizational structure (ppoma_bbp), parameter PRI.

The email is generating when I checked in SOST and here is the text

The following requires processing:

1 . Approve shopping cart of Andy Employee with value 1,000.00 USD

Use the following link to log on to the system and carry out the approval online:

Log on

Following error messages occurred:

- SMTP Inbound Address Not Maintained

- Approval or rejection via e-mail not possible

Please reply me if anyone has an idea of this problem.

Please set up your SMTP connection.

Please refer this sap note - 455140 for SMTP config.

This will solve your problem.

You need the correct settings for inbound processing, this is done in transaction SO50, you also need an output device and an email addressin the user master record of the User ID used to send out the emails.
