Hello Martin,

If you are SAP customer, please review SAP Notes::

Note 129352 - Homogeneous system copy with MaxDB (SAP DB)

Note 604680 - Renaming a SAP DB or liveCache instance

< If you want to rename the SAP DB >

Note 885343 - SAP System Landscape Copy

->"is it possible to make a restore from a backup (SID M11)

Yes.

->"How can I change the SID internal."

Could you please give more specific. What /where you are going to change SID?

->"How can I change the DBM User."

You could drop & then create the target database instance with

the new DBM User.

Please see more information about database users at:

?

Thank you and best regards, Natalia Khlopina
