smartform output uneven....

hi all,

i m having couple of issues if u can help me out..

1. i have defined a table and then line type for one internal table i need to display. I have assigned the texts to the columns and then the fields. problem is output i receive is not in straight line.. as in

col1 col2 col3 col4 col5 col6

field1 field3 field4 field6.

field2 field5

Actually all the fields from same record appear to be in different line.

2. I dont knw what is the use of header in table. Since i had simple data to display i have not used header. is usage of header compulsory. y do v use header in table..

Hi reena,

use condense

like if the field is like&ls-ekpo-menge&

write as &ls_ekpo-menge(C)&

this is possible with the help of the change button on the text element

u can include conditions based hardcoded values.

like matnr is LS_ekpo-matnr

u give matnr:LS_ekpo-matnr

if matnr is initial u can c " matnr : " ie empty

but if u incle &'Matnr:'ls_ekpo-matnr& if matnr value exists then only u can c the hardcoded value
