Hello,
We have a aplication using Adobe Interactive Forms and in the windows client we installed the last version of ACF.
Our system is NW2004S SR1.
This aplication was working fine with SP8 but when we made upgrade to SP10 in NW the aplication is asking me to download the AdobeControl.cab.
This aplication is in a client with restrict policies in the client.
How can I solve this problem without requesting the client to a new instalation os ACF?
Best Regards
Antonio Cruz
In the same way that ADS and the SAP NetWeaver AS Java need to be on the same SPS level, the Active Components Framework also needs to be on the SPS level corresponding to the AS Java. If you upgrade to SPS 10, you also will need to upgrade the ACF if you want to ensure the proper functioning of all functions of SAP Interactive Forms.
SAP is aware of the inconvenience of this to some customers, but this is the only way to ensure that bug fixes can be delivered to the frontend part of the technology.
Best regards,

Hello to all,
Here is the solution provided by the SAP Support:
"You lead request solution the following manual change through:
In class CL_WD_ADOBE_VERSIONS, you need to replace the existing source
code with the following source code in Method GET_ARCHIVE:
icf_path =
'/SAP/BC/WebDynpro/SAP/PUBLIC/BC/SSR/uuielibs/active_component/'.
library_name_activex = 'AdobeControl.CAB#version=6,4510,0,0'."
You can find the solution in the OSS Note 1012977.
