Hi,
Are there any guidelines for how to document the development of XI objects (message types, mappings, etc)? We would like to use SolutionManager directly or link from SolMan to XI documentation. Is this possible?
I know that there is a documentation feature for XI objects which can be used, but I'm not sure if this is the best way or if it can be integrated with SolMan.
I appreciate any input!
Br,
Kenneth
The most suitable way I have seen this on a client project is:
1) Use the SolMan SLD as the global SLD
2) Integration scenarios created in the SWC's created in the SLD s/w components
3) the SWC created in SLD available in SolMan.
4) Integration Scenarios created in IR, containing the whole mapping.
5) the individual scenario developments documented in the SolMan
hope this helps.

hi,
you can also have a look at my article:

this may give you some more ideas how solman can be used with XI

I am interested in this issue too, I will follow this thread and I will contribute as soon as possible.
On our project we are going to experiment the use of SM as project documentation repository.
