Can any one help About Assembly processing in SAP PS .

How system create a new operative project from Sale order.

it is very difficult to tell u clear idea about assembly processing through net

better if u read sap helpdoc u will get clear idea

Dear Vikas,

The key to Assmebly Process is requirement class in the Sales Document.

Link appropriate Netwwork type in the Order type field.

The prerequisites is Satndard network (probably linked with standard WBS Strucure).

You can link material with Standard network. I forget the transaction. I don't have the system access to let you know. But you can findout easily. I think it is sales order parameters. This is not mandatory, if you don't maintain system will prompt for the details while creating the sales document.

Thanks for answer..but this information does not full fill the requirment .In sale order where we will maintain requirment class ?

where we will maintain the table ,relation among standard network template,standard WBS ,material no. and sale document type ?

Dear Vivek,

1. Requirement Class is determined by Requirement Type.

2. Requirement Type is determined by the combination of MRP type in the material and Item category in the sales doc

3.Item category in the sales Document is determined by the Item category group of the material and Sales document type.

Requirement type some times can be determined directly by Material master strategy group (MRP3 View)

Step 1-3 are the part of SD config.

Maintain the relation between material, network order type and Standard network using CN08 transaction.
