appreciate if anyone can help me with FPM documents of demos with WDA. Also explain QAF(quick activity floor plan ) - gaf ( guided activity floor plan )

See the WDC LORD* or teh POWL* examples.

These are recent developments that comply with certain internal rules.

but

WDA is a floor plan free concept. No FPM per se.

Floor plans are design standards or Style concepts, as far as WDA is concerned.

I dont know of plans to introduce a FPM. It may be .... oneday ??

Try google and look up WEB based floor plans.

It really is a generic style question. You should be able to adapt any reasonable standard.

eg Messages HIGH or Low

Buttons UP or Low or both.

where to put search panels etc.

You will notice in coming developments more consistent use of certain layouts from SAP.

I havent seen an official release of SAP WDA style guide yet.

Just internal recommendations.

So I cant share anything with you at this stage.

Since I cant share the internal documents. sorry.

Web Dynpro ABAP has no floorplans, so there is nothing to explain.

Hi Gurus,

I have a webdynpro leave request application which is in Floor Plan Manager in Java webdynpro.

My leave request java WD application has 4 different functional steps like view-> edit->review-> complete.

User completes the steps one by one...and for that there are 4 screens--and user moves from one screen to another after completing each step.

Now I made the changes in the edit view which has the duration field which needs to be filled with half of the work schedule allocated to the employee per day if they chose half day leave in the application.

As per the requirement duration field populated the data(half of the work schedule allocated to the employee per day ) but when I hit review button,navigation goes to the next screen duration field has the value of full work schedule (say 8 hours)which suppose to be half of the workschedule .(say 4 hours).

any clues ?what will be the root cause of this problem..............
