Hello every one,

i have created an alert category in alert inbox, and added my name in fixed recipients, after that i came to RWB, gave all the details like sender receiver, could any one tell me what should i do from here, i have two things to do

1, sending mail to my own alert inbox

2, sending mail to external sales person stating that xml processing is failes.

3, basis person wants to help me, what can i ask him to do send the mail to external mail id, he told me that he has already configured SMTP and tested the mail.

please help.

Hi,

1. Assign the Email Id to the recipient of the Alert in SU01.

2. Go the Alert Inbox of the recipient in RWB , Personalization --> Time Independent Delivery --> Email.

3.If SCOT has been configured, for every Alert sent to the Alert Inbox of the user, the Alert Email will now be triggered.

4.Text of the mail will be the Long Text defined in ALRTCATDEF

>>Go to se38 and execute the report <b>SXMSALERT_ALERT_TEST</b>. If your configuration is correct, u have to receive an alert in your alert inbox.

There is a blog by sravya. If i find I can give you that.

U have to do the configuration in the SCOT transaction.
