HTTP port problem

Dear Collegeues,

we r facing typical problem.In SMICM our basis team is configuring the HTTP port ,while creaeting its prompting an message

<b>" the entry wil be removed whenever the ICM is started"</b>.

we checked this when the basis team has stated the HTTP port entry is deleted.

How to over come this problem.

Try this out

icm/server_port_<xx> = PROT=<protocol>, PORT=<Port>, TIMEOUT=<timeout>, EXTBIND=1

Hi Shekaar,

As Phani said, try doing it. If you are on unix and want to use port number less than 1024 check this <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/61/f5183a3bef2669e10000000a114084/frameset.htm">Link</a>

I have changed the profile parameter & restarted the XI server.

Still its saying same thing'
