Hi All,
As per the process explained in help.sap.com I am trying to migrate the non DC to DC.
In the process it explains the involvement of the DTR dialog box, which never appears in my case.
keeping this in mind I switched to the DTR perspective and in the offline section tried to create a client.
Note: I have developed all my objects as projects in my local system and later I dump then to the Development server which is ata remote location.
So I have got the URL needed for creation of the client which is a path of the remote Development server.
In the remote server I have my user ID created and have got a role assigned which is enough for creating the client.
But I am getting an error while logging in. The error is
Landscape Directory xxxPortNo.agc.local:PortNo Received response is not a CIM Operation Response! Check "http://xxxPortNo.agc.local:PortNo /dtr/" is the correct URL for the SLD CIM Object Manager (default is "http://xxxPortNo.agc.local:PortNo /sld/cimom") and that user "xxx.yyy" has access to the SLD via http and is not required to change his/her password.
Kindly throw some light. Its really urgent and I am new to this approach.
Regards and many Thanks
DK
There are two issue here.
1. Connecting to DTR
2. Then you have to check-in the project sources in DC in DTR.
For 1: Can you try url "http://xxxPortNo.agc.local:PortNo/" instead of "http://xxxPortNo.agc.local:PortNo/dtr" to check if it works. The url i have used to give in IDE never has /dtr in url. The url "http://xxxPortNo.agc.local:PortNo /dtr" is used to access DTR directly from browser.
Regarding 2:
Create a project in DTR track once you are able to connect and then copy sources "src/packages" from non-dc to DC(in DTR track)'s "src/packages" folder.
Auto check will be asked. Create an activity and check-in the code.
Hope this helps.

Ashwani
