How can i change the description of material when i create a SC?

Hello.

I use SRM server 5.5 with classic scenario.

When we choose the material code to create SC, we can get the description of the material. In this case, description of the material is display mode, so user can not change the description in SRM.

In case of MM, even if system displays the description of material, user can change the description.

My customer wants to change the description of the material on basic view.

Because they want to manage some of material such likes dummy material code.

So they want to create SC with different description even if SC has the same material code.

Could you give me idea or tip to change the description of material?

Hi,

You can change the corresponding template to make the field as input field.Currently ,I am away from the system hence cannot provide you the exact template..you can try the service BBPSC01 and template BBP_SC_UI_ITS_screen no.
