Hi all

I have a R/3 IDES 4.7 install on solaris 9. I am trying to log in to WebServiceBrowser web application using user DDIC and URL http://<host_name>:<port_number>/sap/bc/bsp/sap/WebServiceBrowser/search.html?sap-client=<relevant_c...;

The Authentication is coming again and again. I can run the echo application but cant run the WebServiceBrowser. I am not able to log in.

I was having the same problem trying to access WebServiceBrowser on a server from a remote computer. I solved this by making the following entry in my 'hosts' file on the remote computer

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx <computername_of_server>.domain.com

(where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the ip of your server).

this creates a FQDN (fully qualified domain name) which points to the ip address of the remote server.

PS. The server I was trying to connect to was not setup on a domain.
