Hello MDM Gurus

I have few questions related to SRM MDM Catalog.

1. I am looking for information on SRM MDM Catalog. Could you please share any information available related to this?

2. How does SRM integrate with MDM? Is there business content available for this already from SAP?

3. Please provide any links to documents/downloads related to SRM MDM.

I would really appreciate any help on this.

You can also find some information about it on https://service.sap.com/srm within this link on the left frame go into

mySAP Supplier Relationship Mgmt --> mySAP SRM in Detail --> SRM 5.0 --> Catalog Content Management --> SRM-MDM Catalog and you will get the document.

Hi Suman,

You can get the SRM-MDM Catalog buisness catalog on the Marketplace but for that you need to have an account with the proper rights to download the business content. Along with the buisness content you will also get the .sca files which you have to deploy on the WAS 7.0 Server.

Once it is done you will get the catalog repositeries on which you can store your data( cleansed and refined). Then by using MDM tools you can clean and refine them i.e. data manager and import manager. Once this is done you can connect to the catalog by configuiring the Admin-UI and Search-UI.

This is the general idea i shared with you i hope you understood it.
