Upgrade AS/400 V5R3 to NEW AS/400 V5R4

Hello,

I did the following:

1: Complete Save from my old AS/400.

2: Restored the SAVE on my new AS/400.

3: Installed Licensed programs

4: Installed PTF's (also Hyper PTF's, etc)

5: Started SAP GUI (I can logon, but after that...point: 6)

6: Error: Had to upgrade kernel to new version

7: Upgrade kernel

8: Start SAP GUI again

9: Error again: I don't get a login screen; it's blue and that's it !

What can be the problem ?

I'm 99,9% sure, you didn't use DLTR3PKG and this will be YOUR solution !

Hi Henk,

did you run FIXR3OWNS for the new kernel?

And did you DLTR3PKG too?

If yes, you should have a look at the trace files in DIR_INSTANCE/work.
