problem with barcode display

hi all,

In the print preview of my smartform all the barcodes are displaying properly, but in the actual print, barcodes are printing with some value inside i.e. inside the barcode format actual value is also displaying. In the smartform i have coded something like this:

<c2> &iBcode-bcode& </c2>

where c2 is the character format with some existing barcode.

Now inside the barcode format, value whatever is there in iBcode-bcode, is also displaying. I want to display only the barcode format, i dont want to diplay any value inside it. Please let me know how to do it.

don't worry. That how the normal printers do printing.

You will have special barcode printers assigned to your production system.

Once you see the bar code in print preview then it means its working fine.

You need a printer that supports that barcode font. There are some printers that have barcode fonts available, but most people have to install an additional DIMM/SIMM into the printer. The printer set up in SAP (txn SPAD) also has to reference the correct device type that supports barcoding.
