HTTPS service activation problem

Hi all,

We have ECC 5.0 based system.

When I try to activate the HTTPS service through SMICM, I get the error -

<b>operation failed (rc=1)</b>

Can anyone please help ?

Have you made correct settings in transaction SICF?

Hello,

1. please make sure the port you want to assign to the HTTPS port is free on the machine.

2. If the port is <1024 you will need extpind to Bind the port: check SAP note: #421359

If this would not help. please check the ICM Trace and copy to error message here.
