How to reset transport number sequence?

Hi All,

Can you please tell me how we can reset the transport numbers in the R/3

system? As part of the upgrade, we will need to reset the number range on

the ECC5 systems' transports, so we need to know how this can be done.

Requirement:

We want to alter the next automatically generated transport number from

(say) DEVK997299 to be (say) DEVK123456

Hi Mani,

Check SAP note 106911. You system should handle this and go from K999999 to K9A00001. If your system is an older release the note has transports to implement the workaround.

Hi,

as a per-upgrade problem we need to take Backup of E070 table and after upgrade restore the E070 table (coz this table store this information)

if you want to change entire sequence SNRO define number range for change request
