I've read serveral messages about this topic but no useful info.
Here's the senario(I've checked some possible reason):
I got an extended IDoc type - DELVRY011 enhancing - DELVRY01 (to avoid name confusion I use different name).
After creation I use we60 to ensure that the status of DELVRY011 is released.
I've imported the DELVRY011 type to XI ABAP system using IDX2 successfully.
When I try to import DELVRY011 in Integration Repository, there's no IDoc type named DELVRY011, I can only see the basic IDoc type of system, very strange.
Anyone can give some tips?
Thanks a lot!

Thanks all.
I find the solution:
I made a mistake that I forgot to associate extended IDoc type with corresponding message type using WE82.
For that IDX2 just search the extended IDoc type directly while IR search IDoc according to the message type.

Hello Kee,
XI imports MessageType. Idoc Type .
Please check if the message type is linked properly with the idoc type or not...

Hi,
Check if you are connecting to proper R/3 that has the extended IDOC.
Try clearing the Cache contents.
