error 403 and 500 when trying to connect SLD and IR,ID

Hi all

i have installed xi in my system. iam getting an error 403 and 500 when iam trying to connect to sld and ir,id. I think we have to set the roles .i don't know how to set the roles. please help me in this issue.

See the services in SICF and also the authorizations for the user thar u r using.

You can set roles in SU01 or PFCG.

Since it is your personal machine give SAP_ALL. If you give this you will have all the administrative/user roles assigned.

Hi,

RSXMB_ACTIVATE_ICF_SERVICES is a report. You can run it from SE38. Use transaction SU01 to assign roles.

Also for 403 there may be some reasons like:

HTTP 403

Path of sap/xi/engine not active: Activate the service engine in transaction SICF

For 500 check the note: 807000

i have tried with RSXMB_ACTIVATE_ICF_SERVICES but it is there is no such transaction exists.

actually my problem is i iam able to logon to the system but when iam trying to connect to sld iam geting this error , i think this is with the problem of services.

can u give me the procedure to set the roles .
