Hi All,
I'm trying to determine who executed each transport. I don't find this in the transport history of STMS and it's not in table e070. Does SAP record this information?
Inquiring SOx auditors would like to know!
Thanks,
George Clark

transaction se16 tabel TPLOG will give yuo the answer
OR
usr/sap/trans/log/ULOG* will show you if someone did it via the operating system rather than in R3 which is also useful

Hi,
If you want to know who executed the Transport, go to STMS_IMPORT --> Go to --> Import History --> Edit --> Display More.
This will show the user name WHo has executed the Transport.
Award Points if helpful.
Thanks,
Tanuj

Hi George
You can navigate to \usr\sap\trans\sapnames folder , in this sapnames folder
you will find the list of files with the user names.
open with notepad then you will find the details along with time stamp
note : make sure that you dont open that file with notepad always
cheers,
Ravi Kumar

Hi George,
Look at the logs from the particular day in /usr/sap/trans/log directory.
If it is curent, go to STMS, import overview and then click on Go to ->tp system log.
You will see the user there.

In STMS-> Goto->Tp systemlog you can't see the transport and the import person directly, you have to switch to the activity log ALOG:
The user, who imported a transport is listed in the <DIR_TRANS>/log/ALOGyyww.<SID> (yy=year, ww= calendarweek)
Format is similar to:
1) Request
2) SID
3) Client
4) Step
5) Returncode
6) timestamp
7) transportowner (who created the transport)
😎 USER-ID of import person !!!!!!
9) Host
10) tp Key
(see also note 43391: information that normally sidadm is listed at column 8 is based on times before transaction TMS was born and now wrong...!)
You can switch to the ACTUAL ALOG via TMS:
From STMS-> Goto->Tp systemlog (->lists the SLOG of the actual week)
Goto-> Transportsteps (-> lists the ALOG of the actual week)
If you want to see logs from former weeks, you have to look on OS-level or try it via AL11 in <DIR_TRANS>/log.

Uta
