Create landscape diagram of XI which will show following things:
1. Boxes
2. Nodes
3. Processors
4. Memory
5. Services running in each node
What does this actually mean ?????
It sounds as though someone wants you to create a wishlist for shopping. I would start by examining what your work load is going to be, so then you can determine how big and how many systems you need, etc.
1. Draw a diagram (visio, etc.) that shows the physical servers that SAP will run on.
2. Include nodes. Nodes typically (as far as I have seen) refer to redundancy. But also can be included in large servers that get seperated into virtual partitions, etc.
3. Processors, specify how many and what type of processors should be dedicated to each SAP instance.
4. Include in your diagram the memory that will be dedicated to each SAP instance.
5. Include in your diagram the SAP services that are going to be running.

Hi Alexander,
Wild guess
Guess the boxes mean, your XI and other servers, with the nodes meaning end systems (connected to these servers). Processors? Could mean module processors, though i dont understand how they are connected.
I have no idea what memory means with regd. to XI.Services running in each node, would imply the services running in your end systems?
All the best
cheers,
Prashanth
