I am developing application for Adobe integration in webdynpro. And I am going through steps given in Help contents. But while editing interactive form UI element i can't get Adobe designer. Should i require to install Adobe component for that? And if yes then from where i can get that?
If knows then please give me the link...
Thanks in advance.
Hi Bhavik,
During the installation of your NetWeaver Developer Studio, it should have installed the Adobe Designer for you as well. You can check whether you have it installed in your \Program Files\Adobe\Designer 6.0 folder. If not, did you get any error when you install your NetWeaver Development workplace? You can also try to run the install of your NetWeaver Developer Studio again but this time choose to synchronize all the components to make sure you have it install.

Marc

Bhavik -
i had the same problem as you, what i did to solve
it was install the SAP Active Component Framework
(you can get it from service.sap.com/notes and do a
search on Active Component Framework)
then i did a search in the NetWeaver Developer Studio
help using just the key word of "Adobe"
there will be an example at 42% that will explain
your view must have a proper data bind for the edit
selection to show up in the context menu for the
interactive form component
i followed the instructions and go it to work
the code from that examples have a few errors
you must fix manually, this class, IPrivateTestViewInteractivePDFForm
will have to be changed where ever it occurs
to this
IPrivateTestInteractivePDFForm
also there is some File and IOException classes
that you will have to add the full name,
java.io.File
but after that the edit will show up and when you
select it the Adobe designer appears inside the
NWDS (very slow though)

Hi all,
I am a student and at the moment I'm writing a report about SAP EP and Adobe Interactive Forms. Just now I'm installing the Sneak Preview of WebAS640SP9, EP6SP9 and DevStudioSP9. Then I found this thread, realizing that just the function I interest in seems to be missing in this sneak version.
Sure, there is a full version at http://service.sap.com/swdc
and I have a user-account to access this download-page but I think I will have to pay for this version. Or am I wrong?
Has anyone an idea to solve my problem?
Thanks in advance,
Lars Roettgers

My netweaver Developer studio version is : 2.0.9
I don't know whether it si sneak version or not.
When i was not selecting Adobe designer component then Installation was successfull without any error. And when i updating NW developer studio, and choosing Adobe Designer to install it's giving me same error. So i think error is in installing Adobe designer only.
So, what can i do?
Thanks,
Bhavik

i think, you have the SneakPreview version without Adobe. That would explain the errors exactly.
i'd recommend you to download the <b>full</b> version (with Adobe) from http://service.sap.com/download
Netweaver SR1 release is with NWDS 2.0.9.

once again: which Netweaver Developer Studio Version do you use?
the one from SDN or the "official" from http://service.sap.com/swdc ?
and which SP level does it have?
I suggest you try to install the SDN version, without the adobe files...

Hi mark,
I have installed Netweaver developer studio 6.0.4 with patch 9. But i didn't find any folder in adobe like designer 6.0. And at the time of installation i didn't find any errors. I have installed NW developer studio twice. but problem remains same. I am still not getting Adobe designer in webdynpro.
What should i do for that?

hi bhavik,
there's no "netweaver developer studio 6.0.4 with patch 9".
do you pobabaly mean: version 2.0.4 installed and patched to 2.0.9?
is it the sneak preview version downloaded here from SDN? I think, there's the adobe designer missing. you'll need the full version from http://service.sap.com/swdc
