Full Host Name for J2ee URL

Hi All,

How do I set the host name to be the FQHN for the j2ee URL.

I have tried setting the SAPLOCALHOSTFULL and icm/full_host_name to the FQHN and recycled the system still it doesnt work.

Any ideas.

Hi,

The FHQN shud be set in RZ10 of your Web AS ABAP stack. If this is not working then try maintaining the host file.

If you create the entry in your local PC and if its using Windows OS then you can find the host file in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc folder.

Here make the entry at the end as

ipaddress of server FHQN you want

I have tried that too. I think the SP10 should take care of it. Actually SP8 itself fixes this problem.
