OSS - Unable to connect to SAPnet Message server..

Hi,

Dear experts when i client on the Log on to SAPNet button it displays "Unable to connect to SAPNet Message server..Default connection will be used.." and after that it tries to start GUI but after some time display an error "Connection to host 147.204.2.5, service sapdb timeout.."

Please help me from where to configer the R/3 so that it can connect to OSS.

Please check your router settings in table routtab and provide an entry with permit option. else check your proxy server.

Pressing the Logon button in OSS1 attempts to log you on to the SAPNet R/3 Frontend, previously known as OSS. The SAPNet R/3 Frontend is no longer available, as all functionality previously existing there is now available in the SAP Service Marketplace.

Where i can see the routtab and second thing which i forgot is that this system is behind a firewall, is there any NAT setting required if yes then what should be the port.

May I suggest you to read the SAP documentation and oss notes about saprouter, saproutetab maintenance and connecting systems to OSS?

Also, check documentation for Service Connector on OSS.

It will help you to configure your system for OSS connection.
