Hi Norman,
yes, i m installing under a user with admin-rights!

You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
In the log file is this warning:
=> User account does not exist, creating ...
So the setup wants to create it. But then this error message appears:
ERROR 2006-12-06 10:54:55
CJS-30197 com.sap.security.api.InvalidPasswordException: com.sap.security.api.InvalidPasswordException: ALPHANUM_REQUIRED_FOR_PSWD
So there seems something wrong with the password you have entered during the setup-routine. Perhaps you could try to create the user in the ADS manually and then restart/resume the setup.
Hope it helps,
Norman
Mh, I didn't installed a system like that in the past so sorry that I can't help very much
In the sapinst.log you can find this entry:
kluw0032:50500 Administrator XXXXXX is written to the logfile UserConfig.log
So please check the logfile for more (hopefully helpful) error messages.
Regards,
Norman

createADSUser was executed with status ERROR
It seems that the setup wants to create an user in the ADS-directory.
So are you installing under a user with admin-rights ?
Please check further logs to find a more specific error message.
Regards
Norman
