Download and update a catalog item.

Hi,

I am using SRM 5.5 and CCM 2.0

I am into Classic scenario. I need to maintain the entire R/3 master data (Materials and Services) in CCM as master catalog. We can not use SRM extracted catalog due to requirement constraint.

So i have planned to download the master data in a CSV file and uploaded as supplier catalog.

Then mapped the catalog to master catalog and publish it.

Is it feasible to go for this method?

But whenever the master data is changed in R/3, CCM must be updated. For this i need to update the same line item in CCM.

Can i download the particular line item and change the required value and again upload it back to the same catalog?

Hello Abhishek,

The standard flow is

R/3 Material Master -> SRM Product Master -> XI -> CCM.
