Receiver Mail Adapter

Hi,

I am configuring File to Mail Scenario.

File is getting picked from FTP Location, But when i see in Adapter Monitoring.

SMTP status is red and it is showing Error as:

<i>:BS_FILE:test error occured: [2006-12-06T05:53:45Z] unable to call the mailer; com.sap.aii.messaging.srt.BubbleException: Failed to call the endpoint [null "null"]; nested exception caused by: java.net.SocketException: Software caused connection abort: connect</i>

What could be the probable solution to that. I tried to find the solution in other threads also, But i guess i made all the settings in accordance to the answers.

Any help is appriciated.

Hi,

Are you able to reach the mail server from any mail client llike outlook. Try configuring your outlook to the mail server you have mentioned in the MAIL CC and check if it is able to access it.

Hi Sudheer,

Mail server address i picked from MS outlook only and its mails are working properly in outlook.

Tool->Email Accounts->View or change existing account

Its a <b>Microsoft Exchange Server</b>

Hi,

You can download any other mail server which is available on net and run it in your local system and check if that works.

Hi Vijay,

Is the mail server accesible by XI?

Have u given the username and password in the adapter configuration?

I think the connection between mail server and XI is the problem.
