We're on 46c and currently using an existing sapscript to generate and email PDF output. The new requirement is to make this form editable so that certain fields (say comments) can be updated in adobe and later printed/emailed.
Is it possibile without actually installing the 'Interactive Forms by Adobe'? Your valued experience and hints is appreciated in advance.
If you want to connect in any way with the SAP backend (in- or outbound), you will have to install SAP Interactive Forms. To generate interactive PDFs, you need a server component.
The stand-alone Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0 or higher offers what you are looking for in part. Your issue would be to get the data from SAP into Acrobat.
