SP-18 , IDOC adapter

I'm on SP 18..

I'm having only 2 check boxes ..

1) Queue Processing

2) Apply Control Record Values from Payload

I'm not having the other 2 options... :

" Take Sender From Payload,

Take Receiver From Payload.

""

what could be the problem.

did you reimport the SAP basis software component

as described in XI FAQ ?

did you reimport the SAP basis software component

as described in XI FAQ ? >>>> Before me they are using this XI box

for other transaction.So I donno, what procedure they followed for importing BASIS component.

Servers maintained remotly .

Now my question is , In SP18 does they removed header mapping options from Receiver IDOC adapter ?

I want post IDOC as customer , now I'm posting it as LS.

Please help me with relavent information.

Hi,

Please ask your BASIS Admin to reimprot the BASIS Component into the Integration Repository. After every upgrade this should be done.

After doing this, you will have 2 new options in the Idoc adapter ,

1.Take Sender From payload

2. Take Receievr From payload

Set the partner type to the value you want in the mapping and then select these 2 options in your Idoc adapter and the idoc will be posted as you want.

TO get these 2 options, you would need to ask the BASIS team to reimprot the SAP Basis Component.

I can see this " SAP BASIS componant version " in "Import of Software Component Versions " list.( in IR>>Tools> Transfer from SLD --> Import Software Componant Versions )

Can I select this " SAP BASIS 6.40 " to import into IR

(or)

In XI Instalation guide , I can see steps for "Importing the XI Content for Software Component Vesrion SAP Basis 6.40 SR1 "

which procedure you want me to follow or guide my support team.

Hi Sagarkavi,

As mentioned by Michal & Bhavesh you need to import the latest file for the software component version SAP BASIS 640 which you can download from http://service.sap.com . The details you can find in the SAP note 705541.

My basis team followed the steps specified in page number 46 of the following link.

Now I didn't find any changes in my IDOC adapter.

Is this a correct procedure ? or do we need to download the latest file for the software component version SAP BASIS 640 from http://service.sap.com ??
