SXMB_MONI not displaying the payload

Hi , I am new to XI. any help is greatly appreciated..

i am doing the following steps..

1) initiating SXMB_MONI

2) click on Monitor for Processed XML messages

3) View the XML Messages

4) Click on a message.

this is where the problem is

Intead of displaying the message , a "File Download - Security Warning " dialog appears asking me "do you want to save this file" ..

Any ideas on how to solve this..

Hi Chandra,

i think that this problem is related to your Internet Explorer settings.

Check these settings and make sure you can view xml files instead of download them.

Thanks for your reply..

I can click an xml file on my desktop and it open up in IE with out a problem..

I compared all my IE settings with another desktop where it displays the messages.. all setting are the same..

I even tried re-installing the explorer.. but that didn't help either..

Hi Chandra,

i'm pretty sure it's a client problem.

I suggest you to try to configure Internet Explorer with low level security for site related to xi, and try to temporally disable your antivirus or your firewall and try to display the message in sxmb_moni.

I don't have any other idea.

The problem is resolved. My PC is in a different domain.. By adding my PC to same domain as xi fixed the problem..
