is Mapping lookup ( Value Mapping) possible for IDoc Adapter

Hi ,

In my scenario,

i have IDoc (Sender Adapater) and File ( Receiver Adapter),

I need to used mapping lookup. is it possible to use these scenario.

I already checked the SAP Libiary , it is mensioning RFC,JDBC and SOAP Adapter but not IDoc Adapter.

Could any one give me possible solutions for these ..?

I m using SP 16 , Service pack

Hi Bhumik,

Just adding a few points with Sravya, Mapping loook up is not specific to scenarios. You can use mapping look ups in any scenarios may it be IDOC-file or any other scenario. Mapping look ups can be performed by RFC, JDBC and SOAP adapters. It means with in mapping you use RFC or JDBC or SOAP adapter to perform a look up.

Mapping look up is nothing but you need set of values to be looked up in SAP and non SAP system for mapping to the reciever.

You can use RFC if you want to do a mapping look up in SAP and JDBC/SOAP in non sap.
