Timeout and RFC; Strange error

Hello everybody,

we call a RFC from XI. The RFC works for about 50 seconds if we run the test mode (SE37).

If we call the RFC via XI from a HTTP-request we get the following error:

Error Code 1460: <b>Timeout</b>

<LI id=L_1460_10>Background: The gateway could not receive a timely response from the website you are trying to access, a DNS server, or another gateway server. This might indicate that the network is congested or that the website is experiencing technical difficulties.

It seems not to be a XI problem???

Can anybody help; explain the background of the error message?

This might happen due to a http timeout..have u checked how to change the parameters in blogs?

Hi we set the parameter HTTP_TIMEOUT in SXMB_ADM to 10.000.

SAME ERROR!

Any further suggestions?
