Problems with a central SLD and more than one Integration Servers

Former Member

Hi,

we have one XI-Dev.-System (DX1) and one XI-Test-System. (TX1) and a central SLD.

Now if I login to DX1 and call TC SXMB_IFR (Integration Builder), the IB of my Test-System (TX1) is running - and not the one of the DX1-System.

Info: I think we installed TX1 after DX1.

SLDCHECK works fine on DX1 and TX1.

I checked the ExchangeProfiles of DX1, TX1 and SLD.

DX1 and TX1 looks pretty good but the ExchangeProfile of SLD seams to be wrong:

the entries e.g. for Integration Builder "com.sap.aii.ib.server.connect.webas.r3.ashost" shows the host of TX1-System.

Now my questions:

Why has the central SLD an ExchangeProfile with entries to one single Integration Builder?

How can one central SLD handle more than one XI-System?

Thank you all!

Regards

Wolfgang Hummel

check also the SM59 destinations on DX1 and TX1 and ensure that they have the

gateway hosts for respective DX1 and TX1 Integration Servers (not SLD).

Kenny,

Can you let us know which SM59 RFC destination should be checked?

The SLD it's like a DSN, if just give information to the system that ask, so the SLD can manage all the system you want, more XI instances, portal, solution manager....

Follow with attention this note: <a href="https://websmp207.sap-ag.de/~form/handler?_APP=01100107900000000342&_EVENT=REDIR&_NNUM=720717&_NLANG=E">720717</a>

The note wil help you to set the correct parameters in all the points where the SLD it's named.

Hi Sandro,

thanks a lot for your answer.

I understand that SLD works like a DNS - but why do I have an ExchangeProfile in the SLD?

I checked SAPSLDAPI - OK.

SLDCHECK is OK too! ... but in IB - Repository I get an error while importing SWCV: no connection to SLD.

I think I have to check the connection between IB-Repository and SLD ... bad think
