Wrong link in notification mail

Hi,

The link provided in our approval notification mails are wrong. For example:

https://xxx.yyy:8007/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart/BBP_CTR_DISP/?_{client=013&sap-client=013&}language=EN&sap-language=EN&~DisconnectOnClose=1&CONTRACT_GUID=45702019323A0102000000000A0C0181&OBJECT_ID=4000000302

As you can see the "bbpstart" is in excess and should be removed. Actually when we manually remove this part from the URL and retry to connect we are able to see the actual page.

What might be the reason for this problem?

Hi Emre,

I have no idea why this error is there, but you can rectify it in the report RSWUWFMLEC SRM 4.0 or RBBP_NOTIFICATION_OFFAPP SRM 5.0.

change the variant of this report or create a new variant and then schedule it.

Try to give the desired URL in DEF_URL1.

Hi,

The report RBBP_NOTIFICATION_OFFAPP is meant to be used for offline approval. But we don't need offline approval.

Is there an equivalent for this report for normal approval?

Actually I am workign in SRM 4 and will not be able to help you much on SRM 5...

Resolved the issue. We had wrong URL in organizational attribute...
