How to prevent manual entry in the Date field

Hello,

Any experts here knows how I can disable manaul entry in the Date/Time field. I only want to allow date selection from the pop-up calendar. Thanks.

hi,

I suppose that feature is not possible in the Interactive form.

If you make the complete Date/Time field as read only then the whole thing is disabled.

I tried to replicate the same thing but nothing worked.

Hello Kwok Wei,

it's not possible. Is a work around to put a script into the enter and click event that opens a dialog saying that the calendar should be used OK for you? The text box of the date dosn't get focus then.

PS: use xfa.host.messageBox to show the dialog.
