I'm using tcode SARA to arching data about MATNR ( materials).
I'm looking in the Network Graphic, there are a lot of FRAMEs before MM-MATNR. For example : PR_ORDER , SD_VBAK .. What does it mean? I have to archiving data of those frames before MATNR? Is there a way where I can do it all in a chain and the final part of the chain is de MM-MATNR?
Thanks a lot ..Im a principiant in the Archiving data ..
Hi Marc,
Sometimes the network graphic for an archiving object is only the "recommended" order in which the archive objects should be implemented. For master data, such as MM_MATNR, the archive objects in the network graphic MUST be implemented prior to archiving material master records. There are many dependency checks that will be performed for this archive object. For example, if there are purchase orders, or purchase info records associated with a material master record, the material master record will not archive until the other documents have been archived.
The archive jobs for this object are long running jobs as well because of all of the business complete checks it performs. Run the job in test mode for a group of materials and you will see in the log the reasons why a material will not archive.
