Connection problem - "Cannot close connection to data source"

When deploying my model (flash) I get an error message "Cannot close connection to data source". The data source is an Oracle DB table accessed through a BI JDBC system using Oracle Thin driver.

The model and it's chart iview ran perfectly earlier today, and I'm suspecting that network problems have caused this connection problem. The portal system connection test is OK but I can't get data from the db to the iview.

How do I resolve this problem?

Can you try to restart the J2EE engine?

I managed to get the connection up to speed again by stopping and starting the bi-jdbc connector service in Visual Administrator, but I'm still wondering what causes this problem??

I also don't know, but I added this as entry in the VC FAQ and marked it as stub. So if anybody knows the reason for this, and a potentially better solution, please update the WIKI
