I did a client copy from PRD to QAS over the weekend. All seemed okay until I rebooted the sever. Now the dispatcher does not want to start.
My knowledge of SAP is very limited as I have been thrown in the lions, so if you can help me. Can you please put it in laymen’s terms.

Hi,
Good to know that the issue is half solved but SSO is not working!!
Did u do a system copy or only client copy.
When u do system copy even the table which contain SNC and SSO credentials will be over written with the PRD entries.
We need to preserve the SSO and SNC related tables prior to copy so that after the copy we can import the tables and have the correct credentials.
The tables related to SSO and which are to be exported are
SSF_PSE_H
SSF_PSE_D
STRUSTCERT
USRACLEXT
TWPSSO2ACL
TWPURLSVR
As you donot have the copy of the above tables you will have to re do the SSO related tasks.

I rolled back the kernel upgrade to 88 and the dispatcher still didn’t start. What the problem was. It was the SSO. I remed out the
snc/enable = 1
snc/gssapi_lib =<DRIVE>:\%windir%\system32\gsskrb5.dll
snc/identity/as =p:<SAP_Service_User>@<DOMAIN_NAME>
and it all worked ok. I just need to find out why the SSO stopped working.

hi, plz have a deeper look at one of the developer traces eg. dev_w0 (under \usr\sap\<SID\DVEBMGS<SysNu00B0>\work and report the errors given there...
only a client copy? or anything else....i presume that the error was there before the copy and became active upon reboot...but for a detailed analysis more information is vital!
