I wonder if we can link a BI 7 and a standalone SRM 4.0 ?

I suppose, if it is possible : that I have to install PI 2004.1 on the

SRM 4.0 system ...

I already read information on SAP Marketplace about PI plug-in, but

it's very confused for me ...

It’s mostly talking about links between R/3 and BW or R/3 and SRM, for

example … and never about BW and SRM ....

Hello, we have linked our SRM 4.0 (SRM server 5.0) to a BW 3.5 instance without problems .

This is our installed add-in list

PI_BASIS 2004_1_640

SAP_BW 350

SRM_SERVER 500

ST-A/PI 01H_BCO640

ST-PI 2005_1_640

Is It the list of installed add-ins from your SRM system ?

In fact, It seems that BW and SRM are linked with PI_BASIS installed in each systems ... So, these is no PI at all ...

Hello, yes, this is the list of our add-ins.

Objects for BW like transaction sbiw are part of Basis Plug-In (PI_BASIS) 2004_1_640 .

It seems you shouldnt need nothing more that PI_BASIS.
