Dear MDM Gurus,
Is Partitioning mandatory in Family mode.
What advantages does it offer if my hierarchy is already well structured.
Appreciate any inputs.

For example, when it comes to publishing the data via a print catalog, family partitioning is used as a sub-grouping methodology enabling you to further structure your content, that is, order/layout/publish your products according to groups that belong together from a catalog recipient's perspective.
