URL Alias?

When we execute a JAVA Web Query the URL is very long unlike the ABAP Web Query. (See Example Below)

ABAP
http://sdsam001.frxntnyc.frx2.com:8001/SAP/BW/BEX?&QUERY=ZDWQRP_PCM_CHAINS

JAVA
http://sdsam001.frxntnyc.frx2.com:50100/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/pcd!3aportal_content!2fcom.sap.pct!2fplatform_add_ons!2fcom.sap.ip.bi!2fiViews!2fcom.sap.ip.bi.bex?QUERY=ZDWQRP_PCM_CHAINS

Is there a way to shorten the JAVA URL to something more manageable? Maybe something like the following?

Change ABAP http://<server>.<domain>.<dxtension>/SAP/BW/ABAP/BEX

Change JAVA http://<server>.<domain>.<dxtension>/SAP/BW/JAVA/BEX

I think you are correct, but can't get basis to agree.. I'll just leave as is for now...
