Deployment problem

Hello.

While trying to deploy the application from NWDS into portal we get the following error:

Settings

SAP note 701654 starts with:

After changing the administrator user's password on the J2EE Engine...

Well, we didnt change the administrator user's password!

Anyway we retyped the password as the note says.

We also tried to apply the solution quoted below:

no results 😕

any Idea?

well.

It seems

J2EE_Admin password

was changed without my knowledge .

Do you know how to change the J2EE_Admin password ?

C:\usr\sap\J2E\JC01\j2ee\configtool->configtool.bat->open it

1. Click on Secure store

2. Right side you will find :

admin/password/J2E->type your new admin passowrd =>SAVE properly

Restart the server and try login visual admin

We've already did it.

when we type the "old" password instead ******* and we restart the portal, we still cant't log into visual administrator.

But when we change the password to new one the portal does not want to rise up.

Hi.

I tried to apply the directions included in the thread you suggest:

1. I activated superuser (and gave it a assword)

2. restarted j2ee

3. created new connection

... but I can't login as sap* (authentication failed)

what else can I do?
