2 Landscape System

Are there any issues/concerns with running mySAP ERP2005 ECC 6.0 on a 2 landscape system? ie a DEV & Prodn box, we do not have quality (staging) box.

Hi Sue,

Basically QA is to test the developments in a different system before going into production, if you decide not to go for a QA system you'll have to test and double check that your developments are correct before moving them to PRD.

if you plan to do system copies regulary, a quality system is very helpful

then you can test your development in a system very similar to you productive system....

Hi Sue,

1. Auditors can work in Quality system (with production data refreshed)

instead of overloading the Production system with Auditing activities.

2. Quality system also can be used as a standby server in an offsite

disaster recovery site.

There won't be any issues/concerns in working of SAP system with 2 system landscape.

But you will NOT be able to enjoy the benifits of a Quality system.
