Hello All,

I created a Smartform SF1.

In this SF1 I have a Window W1.

In this W1 I created a Text TXT1.

Now this TXT1 contains some text bla-bla-bla----

But at one of the line I want the Date and time.

So I wrote the Date and Time at the end of the line.

Now I want to translate it.

For this I went to Transaction SE63 and selected the SSF .

Here I'm able to see all the Text of the TXT1 and i Translated the same .

But I'm not able to see the Date and Time Text Which I wrote at the end of the Line.

So I'm not able to translate it now.

Now I'm getting the English Text in the other languages also for the Date and Time Text.

I used SHift+F8 to move to the end of the Page .But it is not Moving.

CAn anyone help me ?

Regards,

Deepu.K

Hi Deepu,

Following are the steps for TRANSILATION of texts in Scripts/Smartforms.

1. Go to SE63:

2. Choose R/3 Enterprise in Transilation

3. Choose other Long text.

4. Go to Forms and Styles.

5. IF it is Script choose FORMS and if it is Smart forms choose SSF.

6. Now enter your SCript / Smart form name in the Object name.

7. Choose your source language and Destination language

8. Say edit.

9. Your target language will be in edit mode and source language in display

10. Make the necessary changes and say save.

11. Activate it.

12. In another session open your Script/Smartform and activate it.

13. If it is a Script then you need to transport the changes to the testing client with SCC1 transaction.

Deepu,

If I remember it right, we usually develop different smart forms for different languages as the text length / width might differ and may not fit it the same area.
