SC Budget check without SAP Fund Mgmt

Dear gurus,

Is it possible to have budget check on shopping cart without implementing SAP Fund mgmt? We are on SRM 4.0 & SAP 4.6C. Appreciate your valuable answer.

Thanks Yann for prompt reply.

Unfortunately we only have MMSDFICO implemented & without PS and Fund Mgmt module. Is it possible to do budget check without those 2 modules?

I am unsure what are the requirements for Purchasing-Budget workflow stated under

Would appreciate if you can shed a light on it.

Thus you can set-up a budget in SRM without any ECC configuration.

Hi,

You have to create in ECC :

1- Budget in CJ20N

2- Creae original budget in CJ30

3- Configure budget authorization in SRM

Please refer also to OSS note 941961 for budget calculation option.

4-Budget message

Message type depends on ECC configuration :

SPRO -> Project System -> Costs -> Budget -> Define Tolerance Limits

Column Availability control action

5- budget check configuration

SPRO -> Project System -> Costs -> Budget -> Maintain Budget Profiles

6- Budget tolerance

SPRO -> Project System -> Costs -> Budget -> Define Tolerance Limits

7- OSS notes

520717 : budget check in EBP

941961 : Budget Display: Assigned Budget Without Current Amount

ONLY if Budget display should omit the current document amount to the assigned budget
