R/3 RFC Destination password changing when bulk messages came

Hi,

When R/3 system trying to connect XI through RFC Destination.. with XI - PIAFUSER. When transfering bulk data then user locked and also password of that user is changed in RFC Destination of R/3. (This PIAFUSER is the XI user).

PIAFUSER user password is changing frequently in RFC Destination of R/3, when ever bulk files comes from external application. ... Y this password is being changed?

Why are we using PIAFUSER for connecting to R/3 .it is used by rfc adapter.Can we not create a RFCUSER and assign it to destination instead of using system users?

In r/3 RFC Destination password of PIAFUSER is being changed

whenever bulk of Idoc came.

What will be problem? Waiting for Your responce.

Hi,

This is due that at first logon for each dialog user password is changed. It is strange that it happens also System user. Please, play around with it. Go to your back end and test few times your RFC destination (transaction SM59). After first test everything should be ok afterwards there should be a logon error.

Ansar Sk,

Change the pw of the user PIAFUSER to uppercase and make sure that it is <= 8 chars. This is old PW system of SAP.

Just try this. I am not at all sure whether this would work or not. Please try if u have time.

Please change user type either to communication or system.

Yes I changed the user in R/3 to System and Communication..... Still it is changing the password when ever more idocs came at the same time......
