can ADS be installed on an another j2ee-server as netweaver, for example Tomcat 5.x?

Hi Oliver,

no, that's not possible. SAP's ADS runs only on NetWeaver.

(If you use the stand-alone Adobe products, you have the choice of WebSphere, WebLogic and JBoss.)

I suppose the ADS is not supported by Tomcat, and moreover what is the need that you would like to go for tomcat.

Why would you like to do this?

As far as I know, this will not be supported by SAP. Since ADS is a part of the Netweaver solution you can only install it on the SAP WAS server.

Please check the Adobe site for more info.

But still I am wondering why you would like to run it on Tomcat...
