Reason for Return Delivery missing

We are running SRM 550 with Extended Classic scenario. When I attempt to create a return delivery, I get an error message saying: A reason has to be entered for movement type 122. But there is no way to enter the reason, i.e no fields or indicators.

The text schema for return delivery is maintained and assigned to the document type for confirmations - as far as I am aware this is all the config which is necessary to activate the reason for return delivery function. Am I missing something??

hi Monica,

Reason codes have been set to mandatory in ECC.

Did you already check OSS note 425117 ?

i don't know if it is still valid for SRM50...

Hi Monica,

I have found !

You have to go to item detail then to document tab.

There you will find among the texts , the reason code label.

Click on it and it will display the reason code to select. )

Well i have to say that it is a bit tricky...

Hi there,

We are also trying to find the return delivery fields in SRM5.0 but no luck. Under the item details, document tab we only have a section Text Overview with the following options: Vendor Text, Internal Note, Approval Note and Vendor Remarks. By clicking on these opens a text box.

Do we need to look at code, is this not standard in SRM5.0?
