SAP WAS 6.40 on a R/3 Release 4.7?

Hello,

i've heard that the ITS is implemented in the Web Application Server 6.40. We now use SAP R/3 Release 4.7 and I would like to publish a few transactions to the intranet. Somebody told me that it would be possible to install only the WAS 6.40 on our R/3 and so we could use the "ITS functions" without make a put for the whole R/3 installation.

Does anybody have some experiences with such a scenario?

Hello Frank,

AFAIK this is not possible. Also it would be easier for you to install the latest version of the standalone ITS on a Windows or Linux machine.
